Cor PowerSports announced two new sponsorship agreements for the upcoming racing season: C&A Pro Skis and MotoTrax. C&A Pro Skis will be the official ski of the Cor PowerSports and MESC race series.
"When it comes to racing, C&A Pro has been the choice of the top pros in all disciplines of snowmobile racing for decades, with the vast disciplines that we offer through the Cor PowerSports XC Series and the MESC events (Hillcross & Hillclimbs)," read a statement from Cor PowerSports. "C&A Pro Skis saw the wide variety of racers and fans that a partnership with our series brings and at the end of the day the goal is to get the product in front of as many potential customers as possible."
MotoTrax was named the title sponsor for the new snow bike racing classes in both the Cor PowerSports XC Series and the MESC Series.
"Snow bike racing is growing greatly in popularity with fans and competitors alike, and MotoTrax identified Cor PowerSports as the premier series in the Midwest when it comes to snow bike racing, and we are excited to have them on board," read the statement.
Snow bikes will run cross country at all of the 2017 season terrain venues. In Baraga, Mich. (March 11-12, 2017), the snow bikes will tackle the 20-mile cross country course through the woods, challenging riders with conditions very similar to a hare scramble. At Blackjack and Lutsen, the snow bike racers will take on a short-course cross country track similar to old school motocross (lots of bumps, elevation changes, and bar-to-bar racing).
In addition, Cor PowerSports will be the Midwest Brand Ambassador for MotoTrax. The company will be attending numerous shows in the Midwest (including the Snow Shows in Milwaukee and Novi, Mich., as well as the GNCC Ironman in Crawfordsville, Ind.), promoting the MotoTrax brand as well as informing more people about racing and the snow bike industry.
The first Cor PowerSports XC race will be held in McGregor, Minn. (Dec. 10-11). For more info on racing and other events, visit www.corpowersports.com.
