Tucker Hibbert will compete at the Iowa Snocross National Friday and Saturday night in Dubuque. For the second consecutive year, Sundown Mountain Resort’s ski hill will transform into a snocross track host the penultimate ISOC National Snocross event of the season.

In his 18th professional season, Hibbert’s focus is fixed on winning his 11th national championship. The 33-year-old hailing from Pelican Rapids, Minn. has won eight of the 12 final events so far this winter. Five final events remain to be contested; two this weekend in Iowa and three the following weekend at the season finale in Lake Geneva, Wisc.

Pro racing action at Sundown Mountain kicks off Friday at 6 p.m. and repeats Saturday. The races will be streamed live on snocross.com/livestream and delay broadcast on CBS Sports Network. For more information on Hibbert, visit tucker-hibbert.com.

Racing in Iowa:

“I’m excited to race in Iowa again. It’s always fun to be at a new venue and get in front of fans in a new area. With this being our second year racing at Sundown Mountain, I think it’s going to be better. Last year, the fans were really fired-up and I imagine we’ll see an even bigger crowd this year.”

Goals for the weekend:

“I’m focused on winning races and the main goal is winning the championship. Something we (the team) have been working really hard on lately is my starts to make sure I’m in a good position to win races. I’m excited about the gains we’ve made and looking forward to a good weekend of racing.”
