Eagle River, WI trails will be open until March 31. Trail conditions were good as of March 10.

The snow is very deep everywhere.  The base is 24+ inches and more of hard frozen snow with plenty of loose snow on top.  Fresh snow is continuing to fall which is great for everyone.

At the road crossings in some areas the snow banks are really high.  Do double duty on looking for vehicles on the roads. You might want to literally stand up and look left and right.

The Catfish Lake Loop and Eagle Lake Trail are marked with orange barrels.
Plenty of snow.  Stay by the barrels.  Don't ride anywhere on a lake that is not marked as a trail.  It's a been noted that with the righteous winds we've been getting there is a big heave in the middle of Eagle Lake.  It's a launcher, so slow down and be extra cautious.  The ruts, drifts and the ice heave are hard to see, especially at night.  Don't be a hero.  It's not worth it.

At night there is a 55 mph speed limit on all snowmobile trails.

Wednesday rides are continuing to be very popular this season.  New this season is a Tuesday ride.
