Arctic Cat released several updates today to their 2015 sled lineup.
The ZR 4000 RR will be using a Team Driven clutch. The TSS-04 design with updated calibration has been extensively tested on the race track and proven itself. There’s also plenty of additional tuning components available for it.
The new clutch requires an updated driven shaft. The front A-arms will now be spaced 43.5 inches apart (still within the legal 48-inch maximum width required by certain state trail systems), and a new Ski. The Trail 5 ski is a single runner design with additional top webbing to increase stiffness for more predictable handling on hard pack.
The ZR, XF and M sleds in the 6000, 8000 and 9000 engine classes will receive a new left side panel vent increasing airflow to the clutches. This should reduce drive belt temps for optimum performance. The updated vent is available in a Vent Kit (part no. 6639-817, $46.95 US) for 2014-15 ZR models, 2012-14 M and XF models and all models of 2012-13 F sleds (Excludes 7000 models).
