American Snowmobiler magazine is excited to announce the recipients of this season’s AmSnow Racer Sponsorship awards. We’d like to thank all the applicants who applied. You made this a much more difficult decision than our staff could have imagined! We know these four individuals will represent themselves and American Snowmobiler well in their respective race disciplines.

Tanner Borths, 15, Peshtigo, Wis.
Race Circuit/Class: USSA Pro Star Racing Series/Junior F500 and F500 Sport
Sled: 2002 Arctic Cat 500
Family: Jay, Melissa (dad and mom), Kayley (sister)
Other interests: Basketball, RC cars, hunting, fishing, welding and building
AmSnow thoughts: Tanner is a competitor in everything he does. His passion for snowmobiles and competitive drive have led to success on the track. We couldn’t be more excited about the potential our youngest member brings to the team!

Sled: 2014 Polaris IQR 600
Family: Turbo (Old English Bulldog)
Other interests: Dirt track racing, mountain riding, helping on the family farm, working on my truck
AmSnow thoughts: Jacob embodies the typical Midwestern work ethic stereotype, and that’s a good thing. It takes determination and a positive attitude to be successful on the track… two things we’re very happy Jacob brings to Team AmSnow!
Kyle Kunstman, 19, McHenry, Ill.

Other interests: Racing motocross, wakeboarding, mountain biking, working out
AmSnow thoughts: Kyle is an up-and-comer who has a resiliency found in only the best in racing. He’s worked extremely hard to overcome many obstacles in his young race career. We’re thrilled to have Kyle and his dedication representing our team!
Toby Shepherd, 23, Jackson, Mont.
Race Circuit/Class: RMSHA Hillclimb/Pro 600, 700, 800, 1000 stock; Pro 800 Improved Stock
Sled: 2015 Polaris Pro 800 RMK Assault, 2015 Polaris Pro 600 RMK
Family: Kelci Boyd (girlfriend), Curt and Natalie (Step-father and mom), Nicole Shepherd, Roxy Owen, Kayla Peacock (sisters)
Other interests: Working out, riding dirt bikes, ATVs, hunting, bonfires, Netflix
AmSnow thoughts: Racing is personal for Toby. He carries on a tradition of snowmobile racing started by his grandfather. He’s also a proven winner in the hillclimb discipline. We are really looking forward to having someone with Toby’s experience and abilities representing our team!
