American Snowmobiler's Tanner Borths competed in Eagle River (Wis.) this past weekend for TLR Championship Ice Oval Racing circuit and World Championships.
In just his second year of competition, Borths has made big strides as a racer. Racing on Dean Sibbald's sled in the Junior II F-500 14-15 class, Borths qualified for Friday Night Thunder, taking 4th, and Sunday's finals, taking 6th.
"Even though we ran into a couple obstacles and mechanical issues, and studying for my finals that are this week, all in all it was a pretty good weekend," Borths said.
In position to be on the podium coming into the last lap of Friday's final, Borths was pushed off his line in turn 2.
"It could have caused me to roll but I road it out," he said. A sign of the true competitor he is.
You can catch Borths and the rest of the TLR action this weekend at the Wausau 525!
