Polaris Industries is making some moves. Over the next couple of months, the Medina, Minn.-based manufacturer will be consolidating a handful of warehouses in the Twin Cities into a single location in Shakopee.
The move will involve relocating 120-140 existing jobs. Polaris signed a lease on 850,000 square feet of space at a former Kmart distribution center on May 19, spokeswoman Marlys Knutson said. The building will house Polaris products for shipment to domestic and international markets. Polaris will also store raw materials at the facility and use its cross-docking capacity to transfer inventory between trucks.
