(Please visit the site to view this video)509 officially launched their trailer for Volume 10 in their snowmobile action video series that dates back to 2006. You can watch the trailer right here! The film will be available for purchase on DVD and iTunes in early September.

It's has been ten years since 509 launched their first film documenting the Big Iron Shootout back in 2006. “A lot has changed since that first film launched back in 2006 everything has evolved so much; the sleds, the camera technology, the riding and the 509 brand,” said 509 Founder Tom Delanoy. What started as a small one man film company has grown over the last decade to be a leading manufacturer of helmets, goggles, apparel, but staying true to its roots, media is still a huge part of the company and the launch of their latest film Volume 10 reflects that.

Building on the success of the 9 films that preceded it, Volume 10 features a mix of slow motion, realtime, POV and aerial footage to capture breathtaking views of backcountry riding. The film showcases the extreme talents of many of the top snowmobilers in their respective disciplines with segments featuring Brett Turcotte’s backcountry freestyle, Chris Burandt’s tree riding and for the first time Reagan Sieg’s snowbiking. Two film crews, one in Canada led by Michael Reeve and one in the US led by Stephen Clark, worked in conjunction filming the fifteen segments that make up the 75-minute film. The film was edited by Reeve with music management by Clark.

Every year the 509 crew is faced with the challenge of improving on the previous year's film, and Volume 10 was even more challenging with the lack of snow in the Winter of 2014/15. However, in spite of low and hard snow the riders got creative and were able to capture a lot of incredible footage. “I'm stoked to say that this is my most progressive film part as far as backcountry snowmobiling goes,” said Brett Turcotte.

The film features a diverse range of backcountry riding with athlete-based segments featuring the absolute best riders. From treeriding, to backcountry freestyle, to freeride, to hillclimb and snowbiking Volume 10 has something for everyone.

Volume 10 will be first shown to the public at a Premiere on August 29th at the Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Spokane Washington.
