Polaris racers won every Stock class – Pro, Pro Masters, Semi-Pro, and Women’s – along with the Stock King of the Hill crown.

The winning Polaris sleds that raced up Snow King Mountain in Jackson Hole, Wyo., featured stock Polaris engines and rode on the patented AXYS deep snow platform. They were nearly identical to the AXYS RMK models that are currently available to consumers.

Polaris racers won 58% of all Pro classes, including all four Pro Stock classes, and they  filled 75% of the available Pro Stock podium spots.

Along with winning both 600 Stock and 800 Stock, Keith Curtis won the Stock King of the Hill crown by reaching the peak in 1:09.03, which was faster than the run that won Improved Stock King of the Hill. Curtis also won the Snow Bike class.

In the Women’s classes, Polaris racers claimed seven of nine podium spots. Christy Frisby won the Mod class, and Jadian Pfaff won the Women's Stock class. Pfaff was the only woman to ride all the way to the peak in this year's event, so she also took home the Queen of Queens crown. Frisby and Pfaff earned three podium finishes apiece.

Other Polaris racers that made it to the top of the podium include:

  • Sandy Sletten – Pro Masters Stock
  • Rayden Gladfelder – Semi-Pro Stock
  • Tanner Meyers – Semi-Pro Improved, Semi-Pro Modified, Semi-Pro King of the Hill
  • Erin Beukelman – 1000 Improved Stock, 700 Modified
  • Luke Rainey – 1000 Stock
  • Andy Thomas – 700 Stock
  • Justin Thomas – 600 Modified
  • Colton McCallum – Juniors
  • Cody Monroe – Amateurs

There are now three RMSHA events left on the 2016 schedule: Crested Butte, Colo. (April 9-10); Beaver Mountain, Utah (April 15-16); and Crazy Horse at Grand Targhee Ski Resort in Wyoming (April 22-24).

Stay tuned for an exclusive AmSnow report from the Jackson Hole World Championship!
