This year a lot of folks have something to be thankful for because many areas of the country and Canada got early-season snows.
The Dakotas saw incredible early season snows and places like Grand Lake Colorado were grooming well before Thanksgiving. Northern Ontario saw significant early squalls and so did the Upper Penninsula of Michigan and plenty of other big snow areas around the upper Midwest and Northeast.
The folks here at AmSnow are perpetual optimists and looking at all the long-range winter forecasts it appears that many places, including AmSnow HQ here in Wisconsin, are in for a big-snow-winter. So while you are around the Thanksgiving table this year, sneak in a little thanks for snow and order up a white new-year!
Happy Thanksgiving to all you snowmobilers across the U.S., and a late happy-Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends north of the border! – Mark Boncher, Editor
