Forget the football and Black Friday chaos… Bring on Race Season!

It’s hard to believe we’re just a few short days away from the official kickoff to the 2013-14 ISOC Amsoil Championship Snocross season on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 in Duluth, Minn.

Spirit Mountain ski and snowboard recreation area again plays host to this season’s opener. Tucker Hibbert will begin defense of his Pro Open Points Championship from a year ago and attempt to claim Snocross’ top spot for the third time in four years atop his familiar green and black Arctic Cat.

Ross Martin and Tim Tremblay may have other plans as both have been consistent top-three finishers for the past four seasons with Tremblay stealing the points Championship from Hibbert in 2011-12.

Dangerous third year Pro racer Darrin Mees joins forces with Swedish star Petter Narsa on Boss Racing’s Team Jimmy John’s. Mees finished fourth in points in 2011-12 and was right in the hunt last season when a knee injury interrupted his campaign.

The always dangerous Robbie Malinoskie will be back aboard his Ski-Doo this season. He’s hoping to continue an amazing run that’s only seen him finish out of the top five in points once in the last three seasons.

Be sure to watch your mailboxes and newsstands for AmSnow’s January Racing issue in the next few weeks loaded with coverage of your favorite athletes, race circuits and sleds! And check out AmSnow's live feeds from the races at www.amsnow.com/isocracing

There’s no doubt the usual suspects will make this an interesting year, but the young guns with their sights set high should make this season unforgettable!
